Program: Discovering the Pacific
Goal: Personalized 4 day interactive virtual program to educate 5th grade learners about the history of the Pacific.
Learners interacted with Dorinda Nicholson, an eyewitness civilian of the attack on Pearl Harbor
Participation in expert led virtual presentations of the Arizona Memorial and the Battleship Missouri Memorial, and Hiroshima Peace Memorial Museum
Folding of the paper crane to continue the legacy of peace as it was told in the story of Sadako Sasaki. Paper cranes were donated to the Hiroshima Children's Peace Memorial
